Overview
An aircraft detailing company serving airports across Southwest Florida had no existing website. I built a new marketing and lead-capture site from scratch on Squarespace, covering their service area, service offerings, and a quote-request workflow, giving prospective clients a clear path from landing on the site to requesting service.
Live site: executiveaviationdetail.com
What the customer wanted
- No website existed prior — needed a full build from scratch, not a redesign
- A clear breakdown of the services offered:
- Routine maintenance
- Exterior detailing
- Interior detailing
- Carpet cleaning
- A way to show which airports/regions they currently service
- A quote request path for prospects to reach out directly from the site
- Direct contact options (phone, email) visible throughout
What I built
A five-page Squarespace site — Home, Services, About, Contact, and a dedicated quote-request page — structured to move a visitor from landing page to submitted quote request in as few steps as possible.
- Homepage hero identifying the service region with a click-to-call phone link
- An embedded Google My Maps view pinned with every airport currently serviced
- A services breakdown into four listings — Routine Maintenance, Exterior Detailing, Interior Detailing, Carpet Cleaning — each with a photo and a full description of what’s included
- A dedicated Get A Quote page linked from the primary navigation and homepage CTA
- A stated 2-hour response commitment tied to the quote form
- Footer with click-to-call, mailto link, and a privacy policy page
How the site works
1. Landing experience
- Hero section identifies the service region (Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Tampa) immediately
- Primary CTA is a click-to-call button, since a phone call is often the fastest path to booking for this type of service
- Secondary path routes visitors to the Services page for those who want detail before calling
2. Service area map
- A Google My Maps embed on the homepage pins every airport currently serviced
- Placed directly under the hero so coverage is visible without scrolling; nearby copy invites visitors whose airport isn’t listed to reach out anyway rather than bouncing
3. Services breakdown
- Each of the four service types gets its own block: description, included tasks, and a photo
- Copy is written so a prospect can self-qualify before filling out the quote form — for example, distinguishing a dry-wash-only exterior detail from a full interior detail — which reduces back-and-forth before a quote is requested
4. Quote request flow
- The Get A Quote page is linked from the nav bar, the homepage, and the footer CTA
- Form submissions route through Squarespace’s built-in form notifications — no external CRM or automation layer is connected
- Site copy sets an explicit 2-hour response expectation next to the form
5. Contact & trust signals
- Click-to-call number and mailto link persist in the footer across every page
- Privacy policy page and copyright footer included for basic trust/compliance
Tools used
- Squarespace – site builder and hosting for the full site
- Google My Maps – embedded, custom-pinned map of serviced airport locations
Results & benefits
- Established a web presence from zero – the business had nothing to point prospects to before this build
- Centralized lead capture – quote requests now come through one form instead of ad hoc calls or texts
- Self-service qualification – detailed service descriptions let prospects match their need to a service before requesting a quote
- Geographic clarity at a glance – the embedded map answers “do you service my airport?” without a phone call
