Overall
Our client needed a streamlined workflow to monitor successful charges from Stripe and ensure new customers received a warm, immediate welcome through Constant Contact.
Goal
The objective was to automate the process from payment to onboarding. Once a successful charge was detected in Stripe, the customer needed to be identified in Constant Contact and added to the appropriate email lists, triggering a welcome automation.
Workflow/Design
We used Zapier to monitor Stripe for successful charges. When a charge was confirmed:
- The contact was found (or created) in Constant Contact.
- The contact was automatically added to two pre-defined email lists.
- Constant Contact’s built-in automation was triggered, sending a branded welcome email to the new customer.
Impact
This automation removed the need for manual intervention, reduced onboarding delays, and created a consistent customer experience. By connecting Stripe with Constant Contact, the client now enjoys real-time communication with their new paying customers.
